PERINATAL AND REPRODUCTIVE THERAPIST IN ILLINOIS

This Practice Was Built With You In Mind

Supporting Serenity Psychotherapy wasn’t born out of business goals; it was born from lived experience, years of walking alongside women through reproductive trauma, and a deep desire to offer something more personal than traditional therapy spaces often provide.
After nearly two decades as a therapist, I knew I wanted to create something that reflected my heart: a space rooted in compassion, authenticity, and relational connection.

A space where women navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, or postpartum struggles wouldn’t have to explain themselves over and over because their story would be known, respected, and held.

I Know This Pain Because I’ve Lived It

Like many of the women I work with, my path to motherhood wasn’t straightforward. I’ve experienced the rollercoaster of infertility and IVF, the crushing grief of loss, and the complex mix of fear and hope that follows. I don’t just understand this work… I’ve lived it.

And that changes everything. It’s why clients often say, “You just get it.”

Experience You Can Trust. Compassion You Can Feel.

With clinical experience in perinatal and reproductive mental health, I bring more than just empathy to the work; I bring evidence-based strategies, trauma-informed care, and a deeply attuned presence.

Whether you’re coming in for one-on-one therapy or joining a group, you’ll find that I’m fully present with you. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and offer grounded guidance without judgment or pretense.

What I Believe...

I believe therapy should feel safe, sacred, and centered around you.

I believe in meeting you exactly where you are, not where you “should” be.

I believe trust is earned, and I don’t take yours for granted.

Most of all, I believe you are not broken.

You are doing your best in impossibly hard circumstances, and I’m here to help lighten that load.
